PLACEMENT FEES for Live in Nannies, Mothers Helps & Housekeepers

Live in Mothers Help (all nationalities) 6-12 months plus £799

Live in Housekeeper (all nationalities) - £799

Live In Nanny staying more than 6 months (all nationalities) - 4.5 x net weekly wage

Live In Nanny staying less than 6 months plus (all nationalities) - 3 x net weekly wage

Terms of Business

1. The introduction and subsequent employment of a person introduced by this agency constitutes and acceptance of our terms and conditions and gives rise to the relevant fee as detailed above.

2. Our personnel is introduced to you on a strictly confidential basis. Should any employment arise indirectly from our introduction, you will be liable for the normal agency fee

3. The introduction fee falls due immediately a job offer is made and accepted and the client must notify the Agency within 48 hours of an engagement being agreed. In the event of late or non-payment the Agency is entitled by law to charge interest at a rate of 8% per month or part thereof.

4. Every effort is made by the Agency to check references and assess the employee. All our overseas candidates are interviewed & reference and police checked by our trusted overseas partners. However the Agency cannot accept responsibility for any damage, injury or loss of any description resulting from introductions made and will not be responsible for the acts, attitudes or omissions of the employee. We can give no guarantee as to the employees details, character, or suitability. Prior to the acceptance of any applicant a telephone or, where possible, a face to face interview will be arranged with the applicant for you to verify personally any aspects of their application which you deem to be important. Copies of the references and other checks done by the agency's representative are available on request.

5. Cancellations. The agreement is binding once an offer of employment has been made and accepted. However the client has the right to cancel & to a full refund within 7 working days of an engagement having been agreed, provided that the contract has not been signed and returned to the agency resulting in the applicant having booked and paid for their travel. If the client cancels later than this, they will remain liable for the full fee and no refund will be given. The client may also have to reimburse the Nanny or Mothers Help for any flight or travel costs she may already have incurred.

6. The client undertakes not to reengage staff other than through the Agency. Any employer who engages at any time the services of a person originally introduced by the Agency, having previously engaged or declined the services of that person, will be liable for the full fee. The Employer must inform the Agency immediately of any such engagement.

7. The employer must draw up a written contract prior to the commencement of employment detailing hours of work, rate of pay, paid holiday entitlement, sick pay, overtime pay, notice period and grievance procedure. The contract should be forwarded to the Agency for our approval prior to the commencement of employment.

8. It is the employers responsibility to ensure than any tax deductions and national insurance contributions are deducted from the salary of the employee. All salaries quoted by the Agency are net of tax and national insurance.

Refund Policy

In the event of an employee failing to report for work on the first day without good cause a free replacement will be provided. If the agency is unable to find a suitable replacement within a reasonoable timeframe a full refund will be given. In the event of an employee leaving during the first 8 weeks, a free replacement will be provided. If the agency is unable to find a suitable replacement within a reasonable timeframe the following refund policy will apply, provided that :

  • The terms & conditions above have been met and the agency fees were received in full within 10 days of the invoice date and before the employee's first day of work.
  • The client has advised the Agency within 24 hours of notice having been given
  • The employee has not left or been deemed unsuitable due to unreasonable hours or conditions significantly different from those stated in the contract of employment
  • The employee has been allowed a reasonable trial period of at least one month to adapt to being in a new country and environment and/or to adjust to the requirements of the new position       
  • The agency is satisfied that the employee has been appraised and informed of any shortcomings perceived by the employer during the trial period and been given the opportunity to improve his or her performance. Additionally the agency has been kept informed of this & the advice & support of the agency has been sought during this process
  • The contracted notice period has been given to the employee
  • All monies owing to the employee have been paid prior to his or her departure 
  • All free replacements or refunds are claimed within 60 days of the date of departure of the original mothers help, nanny or housekeeper

-          Refunds

From date of arrival to date of departure, including any trial periods worked prior to the formal date when employment commenced:

Up to 4 weeks 50% refund / 4-8 weeks 25% refund
